Mobile I/O MIO+DSP v1.5

This package is an omnibus update for Mobile I/O 2882 and ULN-2. It contains updated components for OS X. The components in the OS 9 portion of this package have not changed. This package provides updates to the Console, Driver and Firmware for Mobile I/O. In OS X, this package Requires OS 10.2.6 or newer or OS 10.3. Please read the ReadMeFirst.pdf file from the package to learn the specific improvements included in this package.

This update is appropriate for all OS X customers, and should be applied to all Mobile I/O models.

Mobile I/O MIO+DSP Public Preview #2

This package is an omnibus update for Mobile I/O 2882 and ULN-2. It contains components for OS 9 and OS X. This package provides updates to the Console, Driver and Firmware for Mobile I/O. In OS X, this package Requires OS 10.2.6 or newer or OS 10.3. In addition to fixing a significant number of bugs, this update provides support for the second DSP of all +DSP units, and provides support for OS 10.3 (Panther). The OS X driver in this package removes a potential Kernel Panic issue that was present in Public Preview #1. In addition, the firmware in this package (v.1.4.27) appears to correct a long standing firmware problem that could lead to distorted audio on the digital I/O ports.

This update is appropriate for all customers, and should be applied to all Mobile I/O models.

Mobile I/O MIO+DSP Public Preview with Panther (10.3) support

This package is an omnibus update for Mobile I/O 2882 and ULN-2. It contains components for OS X only. This package provides updates to the Console, Driver and Firmware for Mobile I/O. In OS X, this package Requires OS 10.2.x or OS 10.3. This update is appropriate for all customers, and should be applied to all Mobile I/O models. Please note that the firmware in this package is not fully compatible with the current OS 9 driver. In addition to fixing a significant number of bugs, this update provides support for the second DSP of all +DSP units, and provides support for OS 10.3 (Panther). The driver in this package also makes significant improvements w.r.t. latency, record offset and compatibility with some popular DAW applications (notably Digital Performer 4.1).

Mobile I/O Driver/Console/Firmware package v1.4.06

This package is an omnibus update for Mobile I/O 2882 and ULN-2. It contains components for both OS 9 and OS X. This package provides updates to the Console, Driver and Firmware for Mobile I/O. In OS X, this package Requires OS 10.2. This update is appropriate for all customers, and should be applied to all Mobile I/O models. In addition to fixing a significant number of bugs, this update provides a mechanism to update the firmware of the box from MIO Console in both OS 9 and OS X. This allows you to apply firmware updates in OS X without having to boot in OS 9. Please note that you cannot update the firmware using the old procedure. Please check the Appendix on updating firmware in the ULN-2 manual (included) for the new Firmware update procedure. Please note that you may have to copy the new .miofirmware file off of the disk image onto your hard drive to be able to select it in the console.
